DRIVING :-
Driving is derived from the word drive which refers to the assembly of the motor and gear unit which is used to propel the bridge or trolley. So driving means the control and operation of a motor vehicle. Safe driving not only helps in safety of you and your passengers but also helps in avoiding accidents. The most important aspect of operating an automobile is to have the knowledge of safe driving procedures which involves following :-
• Knowledge regarding changing a flat tire.
• Check car performance while driving like any mechanical noises, electrical smells, etc (if any) stops the car and calls for assistance.
• Not to drive when you are intoxicated.
• Not to use mobile phones when driving. (if you have to in urgency stop your car at the side of the road)
• In case of accident – if the car is in a condition to drive turn on your flashers and pull safely out of traffic, call the police to report the incident, use your cell phone camera to take pictures of the cars involved, etc.
• Drive slowly and leave more space between your vehicle and those in front of you in case of rain or snow. For this one should know how to handle skids.
• Avoid road rage situations.
• Don't argue or make sudden moves when you are stopped by a traffic police officer.
